Margot - Our history

A century of creativity

Founded in 1912, Margot benefits from more than a century of experience in the design and production of faucets.

Drawing on an all-French savoir-faire, Margot manufactures high-quality fittings, marrying robustness and simplicity.

From Art Deco to today’s styles, the history of architecture has guided the creation of each collection.

The handle with five teardrop-shaped branches is the hallmark of the SÉRIE 1900 collection. Crafted in the early 20th century by Margot, this design adorned the villas of the Mers-les-Bains seaside resort.

CIRCÉ taps are an icon of the first class bathrooms on the Le Paris cruise ship in 1921. This resolutely modern model inspired by Margot’s traditional craftsmanship is currently offered in a complete range of faucets.

Designed for the Hermitage Hotel located at Le Touquet-Paris-Plage in 1924, the THÉTIS collection redefines palace  faucets. Born out of a skillful bar turning process, this collection draws on the avant-garde aesthetics of this symbolic space of the Roaring Twenties.

Inspired by Art Déco aesthetics, WESTMINSTER faucets were originally ordered by the hotel of the same name, located at Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, in 1927 for its very first bathrooms. Designed in a stylish pattern, this model opts for refined aesthetics that mirror the hotel’s understated luxury.

In celebration of its centenary, Margot released the ONYX series, a collection designed for the contemporary bathroom. With its symmetrically designed shapes, these faucets cater to the needs of the contemporary interior.

The INDUSTRY collection released in 2017 is a product that stays true to Margot’s timeless aesthetics. With minimalist design and clean lines, this model echoes the codes of industrial design.

Margot currently offers complete bathroom sets, including fittings and accessories, as well as a whole range of sanitary ware, such as washbasins, basins and bathtubs.
